 SHOOT TO PRINT

Just like the previous individual workshop, this one is intended for anyone with no experience or for those who just want to refresh their skills. Or for someone who wants to take a break from the digital world for a day and gain experience in this traditional craft.

In addition to the darkroom course itself, this workshop includes a joint photowalk, shooting a black and white film, and a theoretical-practical description of how to shoot on film. The lab is located in the very center of Prague, so you don't have to worry about finding interesting subjects to photograph.

This intensive course takes an entire day and can be attended by two people. After shooting the film, we will cover the basics of darkroom equipment and develop your exposed film. During the lunch break, we will dry the film in a dryer. In the afternoon, we will learn how to make proper contact prints from your film and then how to make high-quality enlargements from selected shots. We enlarge them on 24x30 cm paper and usually manage to make about 5-10 prints. You will, of course, take these prints home with you that evening.
